Ever since I attended my first psychology class, my interest in the way humans think, feel, and behave grew immensely. I have a special interest in supporting children and adolescents focusing on using strength-based approaches. I’m interested in meeting with you, learning all about you, and helping you by incorporating treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and other therapeutic approaches into our work together.
I have experience providing assessments as well as counselling and psychological support to individuals who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and who would like to work on developing their social and emotional regulation skills. I always work with you to create a warm and safe environment where you feel supported and understood. To accomplish this, I will also work closely with you and your support network (where that’s appropriate!) to set goals, discover your strengths, and help you build upon your coping strategies to support your well-being. In my spare time, I spend time at the gym lifting weights with my husband, or spending time with my family, and drinking a lot of coffee! Additional Languages Spoken
